I asked you how you cancelled, not whether you did as you say or not. If as EE stated " you never contacted us to cancel or get another plan" then you never cancelled & cannot be due any refund for the contract running on as is normal.

These mobile contracts don't just end, just the min. term expires. They are not fixed term contracts. After the min. term they just carry on at the same price on a rolling 30-days' notice basis until you explicitly cancel, upgrade or port your no. away. There will however be a 10% discount after 3 months.

Mobile contracts are not fixed-term ones that end on the anniversary, the logical consequence would be automatic disconnection on the same date.

All users that are approaching the end of their minimum term do receive a text message a few weeks prior, explaining the various options open to them.

@GeorgeJ   So you don’t ever look at your EE account because if you did it’ll say you eligible to upgrade.    It’s down to you to do something about it,  when you took out this contract the device and airtime are billed as one and it’s only now with a flex pay tariff that once you pay off the handset are you just left with the airtime contract as it’s two separate bills.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
