Confirmation on the term Inclusive Minutes

Hi, I just want help with understanding whether I would be charged an additional fee when calling an 03 number when I have an unlimited minutes contract.

From EE's own website
'Calls to 01, 02 or 03 numbers will come out of your inclusive minutes. When calling these numbers you'll be charged an access charge and a service charge. The access charge is the amount charged by EE and the service charge is charged by the organisation you're calling.'

From my understanding reading this, the duration of the call should be free for me but there will be two charges. Is this correct?

Calls to 03-prefixed numbers are included in your bundle allowance, yes.

Not technically free, but "inclusive" as per the title of this thread.

For any user on an unlimited calls package (most, these days) then the end result is "no charge" for landline (01, 02, 03-prefixed) calls.

Any number beginning 01, 02 or 03 is a landline rate number and a call to it will be included in your allowance with no further charge applied.

The access & charge charge setup applies on calls to 084 & 087 prefixed numbers.

Do you have a link to the page you have quoted from? If that's a direct quote, it's misleading.

No, your quote seems somewhat corrupt. There's a whole wodge missing.

Calls to 01, 02 or 03 numbers will come out of your inclusive minutes allowance. So you won't be charged a thing for them. The bit about an access charge and a service charge does not apply to calls to 01, 02 or 03 numbers but to 08 Service nos & 09 Premium Rate.

I see I copied this quote from google's featured snippet function which it grabbed from EE's site. On the actual page it does display slightly different and lines up more with what you said.

So for that I apologies, though I did come here after going around the point on a live chat where the representative almost refused to answer my question for 30 minutes until finally telling me that there would infact be a charge on my account if i rang the number. That number being 0330 100 0056 for British Gas.

So I came here for a confirmation from the community instead as I assumed originally it would be a free call until I saw that which I copied from google.

But after that all said, just to confirm, the calls to those numbers are free correct?

Thank you, this is the exact answer I was looking for.

It is insane to me that I still managed to get the incorrect information from a customer representative after 30 minutes of avoiding the subject.

So you did leave out a whole relevant wodge. No wonder you were confused, going by the misleading incomplete quote dreamt up by Goggle. Never trust Google findings but always go by the source it is attempting to precis.
