Hi would like to cancel contract immediately. My contract finished 05/11/2022. I have been trying to contact you for some time on 150 with no success. My son is now helping me with this chat as I am not the best at texting. I have also been to my local store several time over the last few weeks as I did not want the contract to renew. After several visits to the local store. A local resident informed me the store has been closed for 2 months. Please assist as I am a pensioner on a tight budget I will be asking for the payment taken on 12/12/2022 to be returned

You need to phone EE giving 30 days notice of cancellation of your mobile contract.

There is a popular misconception that telecoms contracts are fixed term ones that end - together with the service - on the anniversary date. This is not the case - they are rolling 30day notice contracts with a minimum term. Your contract doesn't end until you have given disconnection notice and your service is cancelled.
If you give disconnection notice today, your service and payments will cease on or around January 14th.
