Annual increases

I see BT/EE have increased the amount by which plans go up each year. I won't be adding any new plans or upgrading now, £2.50 on a lower cost sim only plan is a nearly 25% increase in the first year.

EE bang on about upgrading their infrastructure, yet I haven't seen any improvement in my service in the past few years.

Data traffic especially, is increasing exponentially - meaning capacity & small-cells are the predominant activity in urban locations. Coverage improvements are often in rural & remote locations these days.

And that's my problem how?

Yes it is a ripoff. My Sim only is going up by 15% in March. Inflation is only 4%. They are taking the proverbial and as a matter of principle I WILL NOT BE RENEWING WHEN MY CONTRACT EXPIRES. How dare they inflict this on us mid contract, its just to feed their CEO enormous bonus. Greedy or what?

Rubbish. It is Greed.

@Slick2  it’s not based on inflation it’s a fixed price increase.    It’s not how dare they it’s,  Did you read the contract T&Cs and what you agreed too when you took out the contract ?  I don’t think you did.

I'm experienced enough to see through corporate claptrap. £4.2 million pounds is too much for any CEO or SFO. It is still Greed, in my valid opinion and no amount of stating the obvious will change my mind.
