So because EE's 36monthly repayments were giving errors earlier in December i have £200 in refunds waiting (they were debited from my account on the 13th and 16th December). This was because I had given £100 as an upfront payment. But becasue of the errors nothing happened but the money was taken and I am stillowed it. And on the 19th December I finally got my new phone (24 months payment) but I am owed £106.68 because the money again was deducted before I changed my mind on the 19th December (because I was wrongly quoted the monthly repayments).
I spoke to someone on the 2nd January who seemed to have fixed it all but I'm still waiting. So I need a resolution promptly before I start making complaints

@Slaxbladder Refunds take between 7-10 days.

When I spoke to someone last Thursday they said it’d be 2 to 3 days. Also I have been waiting for a refund since December 19th when the last of the erroneous debits was taken and I was told at the time refunds would take 8 to 10 days, nearly 20 days ago!

Good morning @Slaxbladder, thanks for reaching out to us about this.
Refund timescales can differ depending on the method of return, but we would usually advise 4-5 working days for card or direct debit, and up to 14 working days for cheque by post.
We don't have account access via these forums though, so to get the most up to date info on this I'd definitely recommend reaching out to our team.

Well I managed to speak to someone this morning and it looks like I have had my money refunded. It only took nearly 3 WEEKS.
I’ll never use EE again.

I spoke too soon. £100 has been returned but not received yet and the other £207 will take another 4 working days. Pathetic. Virtually a whole month waiting to receive my money which EE has held onto for no justifiable reason and when I had been told it would be “automatically returned in 8 to 10 days”.
What is wrong with EE? Why are they so stupid and moronic? Why are they so anti-customer? I am still making a complaint and contacting Ofcom and I will make it my business to dissuade anyone I know or meet who are considering EE for anything.
Once my contract is over I will be going elsewhere and never use EE again.
