@elflash69 have you used the settings in the third party router setup?

@elflash69 If you are connecting direct from Asus to ONT there is no need for the EE Hub, not sure why are you even asking?

Why is the SH+ even on when you are connectiing your own router to ONT? Not that it should make any diff as the SH+ WAN is not connected to anything.

Yes, router's WAN port to ONT. Have you set the router's WAN settings for the EE BB PPPoE Username & pwd as set out in that article that @Mustrum linked?

Yes, but it not your email addy but a "fake" 1:
Broadband username or login name: | bthomehub@btbroadband.com |
Broadband password: | BT (or leave blank) |
It's all in that article that @Mustrum linked.
If you haven't got this right that will certainly be the reason your router is not connecting & showing Red.

@elflash69 EE CS will not know much about a third party router, so not sure why you would be on the phone to them.
What is it you are now trying to do? If you have 3 white lights and a PPOE connection then you already have the the details for that.
The only other usernames and passwords you need will be for WiFi access to the router, and probably your email and a passord for access to an Asus account/App.
