I have moved house and subscribed to EE. In my previous accomodation we had EE but someone else was the subscriber. I have had email for decades and one of my addresses is a "btopenworld" address. I need to keep it as I'm a member of multiple online groups and this address is part of my login. How do I ensure the continuation of this address and attach it to my new account? many thanks.

@RogerH58 More off a BT e-mail forum question for you, would go take a look there. BT continue to support/supply the e-mail system and not an EE thing as they have NO e-mail system in place.

Hi @RogerH58

Your BT email is nothing to do with EE and I assume you pay to keep this email with BT if you had no BT service at your last address but had a service in the past?

BT email products: https://www.bt.com/help/email/bt-email-products

Thanks

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

The original account was a BT account but the account holder transferred to EE for broadband and I thought the email addresses would also be managed by EE. As far as I know, they no longer maintain any payment to BT but I will check.

EE don't supply any email service. The BT a/c holder when he transferred his BB to EE at the old addy should have kept his BT email a/c. However the email addys belonging to that a/c belong to him & if he chooses to let you use 1 of them that is up to him.

You, in fact, never moved your BB between houses. You must be a new EE subscriber.
