problem connecting broadband to modem

my broadband router was sent to me saturday 27 of april to be activated today as in the 30th  my modem from the wall is bt but not connected so due to this i  have to way of setting up my internet ?

Welcome to the community,

You write that broadband is to be activated today, this could happen anytime up to midnight, so I would wait and see when it does. You have received your router in good time for you to be ready when you are connected.
