Smart Hub constantly dropping connection

Julieandamira

For the last week and half our mobile broadband hub has been constantly dropping connection. It’ll hold for maybe 10 minutes and then drop out, causing whatever we’re doing to also drop whether that’s gaming, streaming, web calls etc.

every time we report a problem we get a response back saying there are no issues in the area.  How can I progress an investigation that there may be a problem in our area or a problem with the hub (which has previously worked perfectly for a year).

Many thanks

Good morning @Julieandamira

I hope you have had a great weekend.

I am gutted to hear you have been experiencing connection issues with your Smart Hub.

You have done the right thing in checking if there are any outages in the area and reporting an issue too.

I know you may have tried this already but have you tried turning the device off and back on?

I would recommend giving our tech guides a call Contact Us so they can look into this for you.

Thanks

Ritu

I don't know why EE keep failing to notify people that they are experiencing an issue that can be worked around by disabling IPv6 on their router. Fobbing people off by getting them to check service status pages, restarting their routers etc. is just a waste of people's time.
