pro 7 router wont connect with my old i pad

I have spent ages trying to connect my old i pad to the wifi. I am sure I have put the password for the wifi in correctly but it keeps telling me it cannot connect. Please help.

@franksol : Try setting up Compatible WiFi on the router under Advanced > Wireless Settings & connect your problematic 2.4 GHz devices to that.
