don't understand final broadband bill

I cancelled my broadband with about a months notice and today, 16th sept, is the last day and it's now ended. i've received a final billtoday but its a full months bill and it says its for 26th august until 26th september. but shouldn't be paying for those last 10 days. I can't see anywhere that it says i'll be due this amount to be refunded either. so i'm tempted to jst cancel my direct debit and let them ring me for the final payment and i'll just pay them until the 16th and let them work out the correct amount when they ring me.
anyone else cancelled and know how this works as i'm not finding info online and i shouldn't be paying for the extra days that i dont have broadband.

@turner86   You don't say when your normal billing date is, but I assume this is your normal billing period, so it is not your final bill.

Your final bill would be 21 days after you cancel and will include any adjustments for extra days you have paid.

If you cancel your direct debit before this bill, it will delay any repayment due to you, and complicate the process. It really is not worth the hassle.
