Hi. I am trying to get a text code from Microsoft as I am locked out of my account and the only recovery number they have is my EE landline. They say they have sent the code numerous times but nothing ever comes through. If I send a text to the landline from my mobile it comes through as a voice message. I added call forwarding on to my plan last week as I thought if I divert to my mobile it may arrive bit still no luck. Any thought or suggestions would be really appreciated.

You should be able to choose to receive the code via email, instead of via your landline, it should say other ways to receive a code.

Thanks for the reply, we are locked out of our Microsoft account and the only recovery details they have to send the code to is the landline. The only other option was a form but we have tried all possible details and they aren't accepting it so we don't know what we are doing wrong. Im wondering if there is an issue with getting the code to the landline although I can send a text to it. Im wondering if we need a text enabled phone or if anyone knows of another way to receive the code on the landline
