broadband router faulty ??

my broadband went down this morning before work, initially thought nothing of it went to work, returned home this evening still down...

phoned the helpline, cust advisor stated known fault with the router i was issued, been alright for a good 6 months until now, but i look around the web and nothing - proper kick in the teeth stuff, no ee hotspot and no further info on this faulty router anywhere ?? strange ??

@yello3 If you can say exactly what you see operation wise on the EE hub currently! There are a known set off events that happen to help diagnose the fault you are saying that EE have pinpointed to you! Have a read at the link's below to see if like yours and there is a few sub links in it also!

Hi @JimM11 - there's a green sort of back light, occasionally flickers on and off

That's not necessarily a faulty router. It may be that BB is down. Have you tried a Factory Reset?
