My hub is not connecting to the internet. EE are saying there is a power issue to my hub yet the light is on, how can that be?

@nocternus What is the colour off the light on the hub, and what are your symptoms for NO internet connection! Might be good for you to say also which hub you have!

It's solid green for a bit and then flashes green for a few seconds, since and repeat.

@nocternus That's a sign that the PSU brick power supply is now toast! Reported on the forum before so if you do wish to search for it, last one was about 2 weeks back!
Has not been resolved if the EE Router is still ok, but needs someone to just change the PSU unit out and keep the Router on to see it all recovers!

Thanks. That is what EE are telling me and sending out a new brick. I was just curious if it's broken how is there power at all and in the meantime is there a brick I can buy in stores?

@nocternus You can if you can find one as you do not say what hub you have, but it is a centre positive 12v d.c. rated for at least 2 amps power adapter and the connection may be the barrel with a 3.5mm/1.35mm but do not hold me to that size! And that is on an EE Smarthub+, others no clue about! The link to amazon is about as good as it gets with the adapter required.

Apologies it's the smart hub SH31B on the brick it says output 30w 12v 2.5A.
My issue is I'm not tech savvy and would not know what I'm looking for. I'm ok with my 5G but my son is climbing the walls with no TV

Thanks for the help. I woke up early this morning after going to bed late. I had forgotten to unplug the hub. Low and behold it was working ok though that lasted about an hour.

@nocternus Found the link to the most recent post all got slight variations off what is seen and embedded in the post is a link to one way back originally when is started but there is one from about a year ago when first dealt with. Link is below! So not to common an occurrence but does happen from time to time.
