Hi i believe my EE broadband has been hacked and people are targeting me for some reason. I dont have a phone and cant contact EE does anyone know if theres another way of getting in touch with them or how i can stop this ? right now 2 people came to the door saying they were from EE to check if the speed was right or something and asked to see what broadband i was connected to upon seeing my connection name they went oh thats fine and acted like they knew the speed was fine just from seeing that. I cant believe people would go to such lengths to annoy me personnaly but as soon as i showed them it and they left my laptop mysteriously went off and started asking me for passwords etc. Does anyone know if there are people in the east end of Glasgow going around asking if the speed is ok ? anyways sorry if this all sounds a bit weird but i actually am serious ! thanks

@crisk0balisk0 No phone and No way to contact EE, then No way for EE to help or answer you! Just hope you did not show them anything that had your ssid/password on it if you did then you need to change ALL of that asap!

Hi @crisk0balisk0

You let two strangers into your house.

Not sure if you're on Facebook or for local groups or ask neighbours but this sounds very strange.

I would suggest changing your router password and maybe reporting the encounter to your local police.

Thanks

Did they have badges or uniforms or any other form of ID?

You've not been hacked! I expect they were EE Door-to-Door Sales & when they found out that you already had EE BB of a satisfactory speed they had nowt to sell you & went on their way.

You can't stop anyone calling on you. You can just say "No!".
