Hi,
BT customer here, I currently have all my services billed with BT which are all out of contract:
74mb broadband, home phone, 4x 5gb family sim (doubled to 10gb) and big sport TV
This currently sets me back a whopping £200pm
I keep getting invites to update broadband - up to 900mb is available at my address for same price with both BT or by migrating to EE, but this still seems double the price of being a ‘new’ customer rather than being a migrated customer. Should add too that with BT I am on one of their Halo packages which I don’t want now which is probably bumping up the cost quite a bit
But definitely feels like I could get so much better deals by shopping around for all these services.
Having checked other providers, EE still holds the cards as it definitely has the best signal where I live, although aware of some cost-effective mobile only providers that ‘piggyback’ the signal
But any idea if I can be accepted as a ‘new’ customer rather than a migrated one if I went directly to EE to get new customer deals?
I did try my luck putting in an online order but I couldn’t get past the point of adding in my Now TV current existing BT mail. I should add too that my BTTV has changed to EETV by default even though BT bill me in its out of contract form.
Thanks for any advice!!

You would be an existing customer when you have a BB contract with BT & you migrate to EE.
To be a new customer you cannot be coming from BT, PN or EE.
