I bought what i was listed as the wifi extender for the smart hub, but they have sent me the Smart hub sh35A is there anyway that i can make this into an extender for my main hub, or is it the case of me having a spare a router now

@pgriffo The hub cannot be turned into an Extender so either send it back to EE and get them to send you a SW35A instead!

Extenders have to match Routers for operation, so linked below and you can make sure which one you have now all the names have changed!

i didn't think it could be, but wanted to ask, i sadly can not send it back to EE as it was an ebay purchase,

@pgriffo Have posted up a link to the EE Routers, say what you have model number is marked on a label off the router, and you can just e-bay it back to whoever you bought it from as a miss sold wrong ID Item!

For the EE Smart Hub 7 Pro (SH40J), of Set up your Home Broadband EE Router, you need the  EE Smart WiFi 7 Pro (SW40J), of Setting up Smart WiFi.
