I recently renewed my BT broadband deal and switched to EE. Unfortunately whilst I was perfectly able to utilise Parental Controls in the BT App the EE App just doesn't work, when I select Wifi Controls it simply gives me a message 'We can't load this information'.
At present not capability to control Wifi access, I have raised a complaint but may as well have complained to my dog to be honest. No communication or updates. I did speak to helpdesk but they stated its a known issue that they are looking to fix.
With all of the technical expertise available to BT/EE I'm very surprised that it is not fixed, I can only assume that they are not prioritising doing so. Pretty appalling really, customer service very poor.

I'm Having the same problem, it was walking fine with BT.

Since switching to ee my broadband has been shocking, it drops out at least twice a day crashing most devices. The WiFi controls never work I can't wait to change!

I am sorry you are having these problems.
Have you reported the broadband dropping out to our broadband tech team?
They will get this looked into for you and help with the WiFi controls not working in the app if you get in touch.

I’m a new EE customer having g been migrated here by BT. So far the service has been appalling. The contents drop outs have been fixed but I got charged for new just and installation which I have since been refunded but still waiting for £96 rebate that I am die after EE failed to keep the agreed contract price. but the worst think is I cannot access parental controls through the app. I was to by the tech rep that iPhone iOS doesn’t support parental controls. **bleep** ! I have not control over my kids internet access at all. Also when trying to resolves these issue I ask EE to email conformations regarding things we have discussed but I don’t believe the emails are being sent as I have received nothing. I’m really unhappy with the service. I’d like to know if I have grounds to get released from this contract

I'd recommend giving our team another call, and they will be able to review everything that has happened until now, and advise you further about this. If you follow our Complaints Procedure then the team can see what options you would have to cancel your plan.
