Wifi Booster/extender (Super hub plus)

I have just been ported over to EE from a long term FTTP account with BT, while on the phone placing the order i was told the old BT extender/booster discs (black) would work with the new router/hub, this is not the case. I made it clear without i would not sign up, they ensured me they would work, i triple checked this. Since, i have also found they will not work with 6ghz so essentially useless even if they did work.
I have now been trying to contact EE all day, 7 hours on the web chat talking to scripted incompetent people and getting nowhere, what a joke this company is.
Is there anyway to get the new extenders sent out or am i wasting my time?
I will not pay for these as this was the main concern brought to them initially, which clearly was not listened to.
I am within my 14 days cooling off period, but even getting through to cancel is near impossible.

- I'm asking you about landlines in comparison to see if your assertion also applies equally to them as one is quite likely to use them in the garden connected to BB via the router.
- That's just a guarantee about a particular router & extender that the poster you were answering may not have. Anyway it is not a prohibition on the use of EE Home BB as you asserted.

Yes I was told my 1TB package would be more than enough for all devices. That I'd probably not need the guaranted in every room WiFi for £5 as I'm in a small city house.
My kids can't watch TV the mini routers don't work
Now it's £10 . Double👀 £120 a year😵💫 ....so I'm paying for 1TB & getting a service where I'm only using a small amount of GB paying through the nose, kids aren't having their needs met & EE have doubled the guaranteed tariff.
I'm just not doing it in principle (& in a cost of living low wage setting, it's almost cruelty) if your within cooling off I'd leave, I'm stuck till 2026. shareholders are a priority here, I do feel I have been heavily misled & treated like a cash machine

@EErrrmm : There's no "1 TB" package (both size & units are wrong). You probably have a 1 or 1.6 Gigabits / sec (Gbps) plan from which your devices are using Megabits / sec from it.

I have had exactly the same issue and stayed on my old bt router and discs simply because Ee would not acknowledge that they did not listen to the requirements of my propery I require two booster discs because of the thick walls but they are not interested. I never had an issue whilst it was run and managed by Bt but since it was taken over by Ee it has been appalling.
