High ping times on EE Full Fibre

Hi all,

Just posting this as it might help someone in the same position as I was. Migrated from Sky to EE full fibre and noticed my ping times were higher with EE.

Managed to sort it by turning off the Auto DNS servers in the IPV4 configuration tab of the router - and manually inputting a new DNS server. For me Quad9 is best, but others mileage may vary.

Hope this helps others. I'm getting pings of sub 8ms now, compared to 15-20ms.

What is the name of the EE BB plan are you on including its speed? Which EE router & WiFi extenders do you have (read label or post a pix)?
