I currently have 2 x wifi extenders which work well and i have just signed up for a new contract. I need to send the kit back (wifi6) and get it replaced with Wifi7 kit.

question is will i get 2 wifi 7 extenders to replace the 2 x wifi6 extenders I currently have or 1 and then i need to contact someone again if i have signal issues?

thanks

@T_UK What happened the first time around with the Extenders, you do not say! Would think 1 then call, but who knows as EE should have all the details to what you have currently equipment wise.

Be sure to hang onto all the old until you find out if the new is going to work for you Pro or Plus wifi 7....

If you are already on the 1.6Gb/s package you should have got the EE 7 Pro hub 18 months ago when EE were sending out to fix it all, did that not happen for you!

Hi Jim

i already have 1.6 Gbps. I assume everything will stay the same and it will work ok.

i re read the email responding to the other thing i posted and see it said 2 x extenders at a different part of the email in “what you ordered”

I had read the inclusive benefits when it was suggesting singular

It does say 24months which in my other post it wasn’t supposed to be.

i guess will soon see when Royal Mail deliver this week.

And still on the WiFi 6 devices. Nothing new was sent during the contract apart from an extra extender to make the 2 which I now have

@T_UK You have the opportunity now to see with the WiFi 6 what your speed's are like, with it all operating in the 5Ghz band. The new Pro operates up in the 6Ghz band so faster but not as much push through and more easily hindered, it's really a wait and see how it all goes.

@T_UK To speed test and if the App is working that would be the best way, You will need three test's and also may need to turn off the Mobile wifi network for 20 seconds to possibly ensure it latches to the Hub/Extenders as needed.

Stand about 3 foot from each unit, speed test at each and the app will record speed to your Hub, then speed to the device hopefully they are all pretty high for you. Record them all so you can see what the Pro is like once you get it all set up.
