When our mobile phones are connected to EE WiFi in our house they start to buffer and do not stream correctly or very slowly. Any other device will work correctly as long as it does not have a SIM card in it. If we switch WiFi off on our phones they work perfectly. They also work perfectly on other WiFi networks with the SIM cards connected and not our home WiFi network. Has anyone any advice?

@PT26 What phones are you using and what EE Hub are they connecting to, any wifi extenders EE or Third party in use also.
Try testing you mobile by switching off the Mobile Data and allowing just a wireless wifi home network connection to see if they hold on to the network.

@PT26 Since you are using the old EE Hub, wifi 5 device, are your mobiles connecting on the 2.4Ghz band or the high speed 5Ghz band? Rough speed test would do info wise, or a link like below.

@PT26 So first one the app test, Max to the EE hub, device is not performing well....
2nd one rocking the boat straight speed test 120Mb/s down as far as the test was concerned nothing to worry about with that one.
Still not sure what your problem is, shared Network two phones doing ie streaming a 4K HD movie each, pulling say each 40Mb/s = 80Mb/s leaving the remainder to be used?

Jim,
There wouldn’t be that much on it. Not big streamers. Even with tvs off etc still won’t work well.
