Hi, sorry to hijack your post but I wondered if you have managed to get it resolved. I too had a pixel 8 pro and was having issues from day one of the EE broadband with the same router and 1 hub. I have had it about a month and have also brought a pixel 10 pro xl and I'm having the same problem. My wife is sat next to me with a pixel 6a and has no issues what so ever. Not impressed at all

I have a funny feeling it is to do with the WiFi 7 as both pixel 8 and 10 are WiFi 7

Yes that was the problem with the 8 Pro, I'd read something about it not being able to fully cope with the frequencies of wifi 7. The pixel 10 pro xl must have a similar modem. My old Samsung Galaxy Tab s6 works just fine using wifi 5

Hi @XRaySpeX , was you able to assist with the information I posted as I am still having issues. Thanks.

@kmitchpg I have found that my Pixel 8 pro occasionally disconnects from the WIFI network.
All I do to fix the issue is to call up network connections on the phone and disconnect from my home WIFI network and then reconnect.
I think it is an issue with the Pixel Range and WIFI 7 (6 Pro has this issue as well) rather that the Pro router

I have had a few similar issues with Samsung phones and the Smart Hub Pro WiFi and it seems to have far less issues when using the phones MAC address rather than a randomised MAC address on the WiFi connection. I assume you can set this in the settings on the Google phone for your WiFi7 network.

Thanks for the reply. For a total noob how would I go about doing that? Thanks

On a Samsung and I would assume a Google is very similar:
Settings-Connections-WiFi
Then select the settings for your connected WiFi network, it will look like a cog-wheel icon. At the bottom you will see "view more", select this and scroll down the page until you see "MAC address type", you will have two options of "Randomised MAC " or "Phone MAC", select "Phone MAC". For me this improved the connecting.
This is a setting per network and Randomised MAC offers greater privacy but privacy is not usually a major concern on your own home network.
