I have received a new WiFi extender but it isn’t working. I’ve paired it and the lights are aqua but when I look on the EE app is says no signal - it is literally sat next to the main hub as I have just done the pairing. I have another extender that is working fine.
I have tried to reset and repair but always same result - any tips?

@portisteve - try connecting the extender via Ethernet/cable and leaving it for a good chunk of time. A new extender is likely to need updating to a more recent firmware version (you can check this by accessing the Hub Manager and navigating to Advanced > Wireless > Extenders > Highlight Extender).
If that doesn't help then it's worth a restart of the hub itself (rather than the extender).

Thanks for the reply, I eventually got through to EE and after 1 hour of trying various things it was as simple as unplugging the hub and router and waiting for 2 minutes. Started the hub first then the router and it all worked. The annoying thing about the process was that I had to go to cancellations and threaten to end my contract before I could speak to a human in the faults dept.
I hope this will help others with the same issue
