WiFi Extenders 6

I have a great speed to my hub and have a modern 4 bedroom house. Nothing unusual no 3 feet thick walls or any massive electrical interference. However I have some areas where my signal is weak, the kitchen and garage mainly.  So I purchased some extenders. I didn’t want to rent and pay each month so bought new ones from eBay seller.  They do work however don’t stay blue for very long and are usually showing solid orange.  I can move any closer one is only in the next room and still orange.  I have tried to re-pair but still end up with orange.  Is there anything else I can do?  All suggestions welcome as I would like to get a solid connection to garage (ring cameras and EV charger) thank you.

They seem to work fine when near the hub but when moved to the garage and kitchen they go orange

@Iipboss As soon as you disconnect and move them with NO Ethernet connection then they will transfer operation into a wireless backhaul operation, so there for now the requirement is that both the 2.4/5Ghz frequency channels must be able to reach from the Hub to the Smart Wireless devices, the easiest way to test is have the device off, walk away from the hub, place the mobile and see when you lose the connection device/hub, then 15' more place the smart wireless at that position, power it up and see if it connects and goes Aqua on the Extender.

Use the web manager interface and in the advanced wireless section see what the Extenders tab is showing you. http://192.168.1.254 to get on the Hub!
