The Smart Wifi 6 + is a WiFi extender to the Smart Hub 6 + router. From your OP that you are having no issues with your current setup, it sounds as tho' you don't need it.

@Jessie45 As @XRaySpeX has explained EE should have sent to you the EE Smart Wireless 6+ version ""The device WiFi Extender 6 Plus SW30A"" so worth checking it is the correct version may say so on the outside off the box possibly on a label, and by the sound off it a DVA Digital Voice Adapter so you may just be going DV Digital Voice on a landline phone connection and EE are covering all the bases in doing that!

Extender you will not need if the WiFi out the hub is covering all you require, similar depending on were you have the EE Hub and The Landline phone, if the cable reaches plugs into the back off the Hub then the DVA is also not going to be required at all.

If FF Full Fibre install is about to happen and the EE Hub get's moved then you may indeed require the smart wireless extender and the DVA as well.
