What are the risks you have encountered moving your BT broadband to EE wireless?

Hi I went to EE store and they said had to move my BT broadband to EE. I am not certain if this would be better. Please could you share your experiences? I think if I move to EE they will charge me more.

@TABABAB : Why, didn't they tell you how much you'll be paying per month?

Which EE BB plan signed up for including its speed?

By signing up tho' an EE store you have given up your statutory right to a 14-day cooling-off period after installation. Better to have done it with BT over the phone.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

Have you actually signed or agreed anything?

Our experience has been mixed. See: https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/SIM-cards-Porting/BT-to-EE/td-p/1458333

New router has better wifi speed and coverage.

Every other aspect of our BB, TV, and SIMs have had issues necessitating formal complaint.

A month on, I'm still battling with wifi extenders, waiting for a more appropriate phone plan to commence, and evaluating Netflix with ads.

I had my issues with BT over the years, but I wish I could turn the clock back. Still, it's going to happen anyway. There's nothing we can do to stop it. My advice - unless there's some issue you are desperate to fix, leave well alone for as long as you can. Let them initiate it.

Good luck.

Mike
