I have been trying to get through to EE for weeks now, I can never get through and its really peeved me off, basically I want the white WIFI extenders as I am still using the BT HUB 2 as I need the black disks and they are not compatible, so I wanted to use the new EE HUB, but as im sure EE wont supply them, the service is not fit for purpose! any suggestions?

It's the smart hub plus, but it's not compatible with the BT disks. Why does the model matter? Neither work with the EE hub.

@Websponge Well since you have extensive knowledge of EE Router's there is one that works and is compatible with the BT Complete wi-fi disk's. Since you did not post then the question was asked.

@Websponge The smart hub plus has a extender designed to work with it and there should be no reason why you can't get one or more.
Not sure why you have had difficulty contacting them so for now am sharing the broadband contact help page. But do let us know what issue you have had getting to speak to someone.

It matters! The EE Smart Hub (2023) model SH20A is compatible with the BT Complete WiFi disks being an EE badge engineered version of the BT SH2. But now you tell us you have an EE SH+.

Hi Jim, my reply came across a little harsh reading it back 😂 apologies.. I have the black SH+ it seems, but was told the black BT disks are not compatible?

I can never get through! I want to use my black BT disks, they won't give me the EE ones without charging.

I'm using the BT SH, so my black BT disks work, I was sent the new black EE branded router last year, but everyone has said the BT disks do not work with the EE branded router. Thanks

@Websponge Feel your pain we understand and you are getting the picture now that is all we need to know, yes the routers/smart wireless devices compatible/not compatible is a HUGE issue, and it can be a customer derived issue as we do not know like did BT give them to you, did you go get them for yourself etc etc, and EE will not just stump up extenders without the old money being exchanged to get them £10 for 24 months of the contract, that is what they want, dig the heels in and see who buckles first.
