I want to turn off voicemail on my landline phone. I am trying to use the phone using an adaptor, but when a voicemail comes in, it stops my landline from working. I need the landline to work as I have a 91 disabled mother living with me and she needs to use the landline. Please advise how I can turn voicemail off. ( only just changed to EE, didn't have voicemail working when with BT and phone worked ok through the adaptor, so feel sure that that is the problem

@Ann1956 Have a look on the Home services, digital phone services, from what i have read it appears that you cannot turn of the voicemail service, you will have to call EE CS, dial 150 from your landline phone. Let the forum know what the outcome is.

Also link from earlier were OP called for you to read.

You can't turn landline VM OFF but when you dial 1571 under Personal Options (2) > Calling Options (3) > Ring Period (2) there is an option to set the ring period to Short (4 rings) , Medium (7 rings) or Long (10 rings).

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.
