So bit of a weird issue, that I've only ever had with the BT Smart Hub and now with EE's Smart Hub.
On my Macbook, I have Windows setup on Parallels as a virtual machine and have it setup so it should have a different local IP to the host macbook.
However, I often don't get an IP address assigned and to get round it, I have to reboot my smart hub and hope one gets assigned. Normally takes a few attempts.
At my previous address, I had this issue but I had my own TP Link router which I had access to and that immediately dealt with the issue every time.
Not sure if this is an issue with the software used on these smart hubs, as its pretty much identical from the BT Smart Hub to the EE one.
Any advice would help, at the moment it's really just an annoyance more than anything. Just wondering if anyone else has ever had this?

@Joshpott8 Do not know much about mac systems, but is there not anyway in the windows system to tell your nic to use fixed ip instead of getting from the DHCP of the router?
