Hi everyone. My new smart hub has arrived and I was told it would be up and running by 6th August. If I connected it today would it work?

Was EE. My contract was coming to an end. This is just an upgraded hub

@Cathal3 You should have no issues changing over, is it hub only at present, and landline to DV if you are using? What router do you have on just now, the white one from EE? If you do change over now, and you had older EE Router and possible Smart wi-fi disks etc those will be none functional. Take it you got the new EE Smarthub+....
Edit: old EE router uses the EE at home app, New EE router uses the new EE Home/work/play app, that may be an issue and you are probably moving from legacy to new EE. If it was me think i would wait until 6th to give EE a fighting chance to get it all right. But your choice if you want to give it a go.

What types of BB & plan are you switching between? Which router had you before?
