VPN Installation

I want to install a VPN on my EE Smart  Hub Router, namely Express VPN. I can install it on certain individual devices in my network but not on the router itself. When I go into the VPN section of the router it says " Your EE Smart Hub has been designed to work with most VPN (virtual private network) software." that is all. I contacted EE and they said they couldn't help.

EE's routers cannot be configured as VPN clients.

@BLUEZULU   You install VPN clients on the devices using the access point ie your router.  You can not install VPNs on the router.

Thanks Chris, apparently a VPN can be installed on a router to cover all the connected devices but just not on a EE router
