Upgrade from 4G mobile broadband to Fiber?

Has anyone changed from a 4G mobile broadband to a Fibre contract? I finally got fibre in my area and called EE to see if I could upgrade but was told I'd have to pay a huge fee to get out of my 4G contract? Seems a bit ridiculous to me since I'm not trying to leave EE.

@ARD1608 : There is no upgrade path from mobile BB to fixed Home BB. They are separate product lines & technologies.

You may still order Fibre BB but it will not affect your mobile BB contract.
