Trickery of EE and being taken advantage of

12 months ago I was in need of switching my broadband from BT to something more reliable. I called EE, and after letting them know how many devices we have, and what package was suitable, I was offered the 4G Home broadband. In other words, I was tricked into buying a MOBILE PHONE Internet broadband instead of a real home one. We even lost our home phone number because of this switch.

EE took advantage of my little knowledge, and a language barrier that I had at the time. Mind you, we were only given 30GB for the whole month... for 10+ devices at home. I had to call EE up and they upgraded it to 500 GB a month, of which it felt impossible as they said every 10GB upgrade would cost £10 more.

Fast forward to now. I've been paying £43 a month for a 4G PHONE BROADBAND for 7.65 download speed and 1.00 mbps download.. it's actually quite despicable how much I have been taken advantage of by this company.

Waited so patiently for the contract to come to an end. Knowing we'd have to pay tonnes of more extra money for more useless excuses by EE.

IF EE has any decency to contact me and make things right, please do. We would definitely appreciate any wavering of fees we were given for absolutely no reason.

Besides that, EE has given me a very bad taste and an experience of what it is like to be robbed,  and taken advantage of by a broadband company.

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post just the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker.

No one will contact you from this user discussion group other than thro' the medium of these forums by posts such as this. Anyway we haven't the faintest idea who you are.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.
