If I buy sky stream through EE can I take advantage of the sky stream new customer prices or as I’ve currently got sky will I not be classed as a new customer?

@NathanS96 You’ll not be a new customer you’re just purchasing this via EE instead of going directly to sky

If your sky contract has come to an end, you might be better cancelling your existing sky first, and leaving it till your last bill has been paid and then go through EE.
Whatever price you are then quoted, it won't be any worse than the out of contract price and you wouldn't want charged twice, already being a sky customer.
But before you go through all that, phone sky, saying that you want to cancel sky and you'll go straight to their retention team.

Thanks, yeah this is the position I am in I have cancelled my Sky as they wouldn’t budge on any prices so I’m currently in my 31 days period now until it finishes. Really keen on moving over to EE broadband but not 100 percent sure yet on whether to go sky stream through EE or go with the Apple TV box as I need 2 boxes and not keen on the EE box as my second. Either way the EE is in my wife’s name so hoping this will get me through being a new customer on Sky anyway.

If you take the Apple TV box, you won't get another one due to some commercial reason.
I have the EE mini device as part of my multi room and it's not too bad a device to be honest.

Might take the gamble on it then. The money saving is crazy. Just a big jump moving away from Sky after so long and whether anything can compare.

Just to say the channels EE offer aren't the same as Sky, so make sure your getting the channels that you need from the link below

For some missing channels there can be work arounds with catch up apps and live streams of channels from other apps on the apple TV device

Thanks for that. Main thing I’m interested in is the sky sports and TNT sports. Also want to be able to watch across a two devices at a time. Do you know if you can get the now ultra boost through the EE package. Your profile showing you run both sky stream Apple TV and mini box. What makes you have the sky and EE side by side?

Ultra boost isn't yet available but it's coming apparently. There's some changes with the new Now TV app as well and it looks like HD is included by default on my Hisense freely TV but this hasn't came to EE so far and it hasn't been announced yet.
My other half likes sky basically and I wanted a recordable pro box so luckily I can afford to have both Sky and EE. I then swapped the pro box for the apple device and haven't looked back.

There was an announcement a couple of months ago that HD is included as default on New and Re-contracting EE TV Sports (Sport and Big Sport) Packages.
