If you’re an EE TV customer with EE Broadband, you can now get HD included as part of our sports channels packages. This would have previously been charged an extra £6 for the HD addon.
For existing customers, you’ll need to flex to the new version of your package to get this benefit. If you’re on a discounted offer, you may be better off staying with the current set up until your discount period ends.
What will I get?
- Customers on our Sport package will get all TNT Sports channels in HD. As well as TNT Sports Ultimate in UHD where they have enough broadband speed. This also applies when you take TNT Sports as an add-on
- Customers on our Big Sport package will also get NOW Boost, allowing them to watch all 12 Sky Sports channels in HD, as well as watch two streams simultaneously
What happens to my existing HD add-on?
- When you flex to the new version of Sport/Big Sport where HD is included, we’ll remove the £6 add-on from your account
Can I go back to my old package without HD?
- All our TV packages that include TNT Sports or Sky Sports come with HD when you have EE Broadband. It’s not possible to move back to your old deal or remove HD
I have EE TV with BT Broadband. How can I get HD included in my package?
- You’ll need to move your broadband to EE, and select an EE TV package where HD is included (Sport, Big Sport or Full Works)

Can one just flex the TV package, or does flexing mean that any broadband discount is affected?

Will be interesting to see what happens with the Discovery channel on EE entertainment packages.
You are waving the hd add on for Now Sky Sports? What does this mean for the Now entertainment packages?

I hope the EE agents have been properly briefed, because, as per usual, it appears to be impossible to flex to a new package via the website. Not even possible to see the new packages. Farce.

Yep it’s impossible to change anything or add anything online or phoning up.

I can’t add tnt sports hd to my big sport package. Joined in November. Can’t change it online and phoning up has been a waste of time. Gone to an offline team but it’s a basic ask isn’t it.
your app doesn’t work and the customer service teams can’t do anything. I wish I never left bt to be honest.

Just checked my EE account, currently I am on Sport at £20/month you can select new Sport pack with HD included but it's a higher price at £23/month.
So cheaper than the £6 HD add on but not thrown in HD/UHD for free so be warned it comes with an increase.
But if you are happy streaming through Discovery+ you get HD/UHD anyway so if not bothered about recording that's an option.
Whilst I'd have taken the HD option if free not worth £3/month when I can save that by using discovery+

I hear that ‘same company’ BT are rather better; their systems work, and their people have more of a clue.
