Hi all.
Transfering from BT to EE on broadband with Digital Voice.
Just found out that I have a new number, WHY?
I want to keep old number, too much hassle informing everyone.

@Nitonboy Did you say that and give them your old number when you placed your order?
If you give customer services a call in they morning they should be able to get that sorted for you.

Wasn't told that initially by guide and 2 attempts at chat with guides it has been supposedly resolved. We will see on Monday.

I do very hope so. Have a copy of chat where guide says they (EE?) will do it only to get an email saying they will look at my 'request'.

Well, that didn't go that well.
BT phone switched off at 06.15! Connected, using DV Adaptor. Now keep on getting an error message 'Line Cord Error, please check'
Sometimes dial tone,sometimes engaged tone.
This day & age cant they get things right from the beginning?

Could you try restarting your router this morning to see if the Digital Voice has activated please?

Hi. Been out since early this morning and not back until around 5pm.
Phone was giving error message all night but checked phone just before we left and seemed normal.
Just waiting on a guide to call to sort out correct number.
