Hi - I’m an idiot and thought I had broadband set up as direct debit. It appears not and I had my broadband suspended today. I immediately paid the bill but am really worried I won’t be reconnected and will have a mark on my credit file and have to pay termination fees. I have called the number and EE now says my bill is paid. Is anyone able to offer advice - I am really stressed about it all. (Direct debit now set up)

It was just an appropriate warning, not a notice of implementation. It's your Yellow Card, not Red.

@blythy1 : If you've paid when you saw it suspended it won't mar your credit history. Your service should be restored within 2 hours of receipt. You might get a late payment fee of £4 on your a/c.

Thank you. So it hasn’t been terminated then?

Only if you haven't paid your bills over a period of time.

I had a letter with a termination warning was that only if the bill remained unpaid? Sorry for the million questions. This is my last one.
