Smart Wi-Fi plus - Ethernet connectivity - Smart Hub Plus

Hello, I am about to transfer over to EE full fibre broadband from BT part fibre (BT SH 2) I live in a 3 storey house that is difficult to impossible to reach all areas with normal Wi-Fi. Once Full Fibre is routed in, the kit sent to set up is the EE Smart Hub plus, with a Smart Wi-Fi extender. During house renovation's, I routed a Ethernet cable from the BT entry point at the front of the house to the room on the third floor that is furthest away from where the router is/will be positioned.  My question. Can I permanently connect vie the Ethernet cable the EE Smart WiFi extender to improve Wi-Fi coverage throughout, then add further EE extenders connected via Wi-Fi if required. I already know I will need additional extenders, as a trial using BT SH 2 black disc extenders proved the property requires at least 2 meshed extenders. This is why I chose the complete Wi-Fi option from BT/EE, as I know the standard WiFi will  not be adequate. In theory it should work, but I would appreciate guidance. I read the BT SH 2 discs allow one to be hardwire connected to the hub, with additional ones connect via Wi-Fi. I can’t find any similar guidance for the EE Smart Wi-Fi extenders, hence reaching out here. Thankyou.

@ALClarke When you go FF where is the NEW ONT modem from OR going to be fitted? This requires a Ethernet connection from it's Lan port to the WAN port on the EE Smarthub+ router. If you require to use the Ethernet cable that you are talking about in the posting, then NO you cannot use it for anything else!!!

If the fibre run in by OR is going to be up beside your EE Smarthub+ router and this is the location of your ONT when fitted, then yes that ethernet can be used as a wired backhaul to one of the Smart wireless devices. The other can be connected as a wireless backhaul device, success depends on the positioning of said extender.

@JimM11 Thanks. Your second  paragraph described the arrangement. The FF connection to the EE Smart-hub modem will plug directly into the hub from the master socket which is close to it. The separate Ethernet cable that is routed to the top of the house starts close to where the hub will be positioned for connecting into one of the yellow ports on the rear of the hub, then to extender connected at the opposite end on third floor. I think it should work OK?

@ALClarke You need to stop and start again, FF does NOT connect to the OR Master socket. If you are using the master socket then you are not getting a FF (Full Fibre) connection. Lets clear this one up first...
