I am a new EE customer, BB works but the Smart Hybrid Connect is paired to the route but the three bars are flashing red. I have moved around the house and it is in the best possible position for 4g.

Good morning @Thumper75.
Thanks for reaching out to us via the EE Community 😊
Just to be sure first of all, when you first received your Smart Hybrid connect did you set this up with your Hub as advised on our help page here?

If you're confident that there is an EE mobile signal in your area then it sounds to me like the SIM card in the modem is not provisioned correctly. If so, you'd need to get in touch with the helpdesk.

Hi @Fred-1962
Do you have a good mobile signal in your property? Best way to test is with another EE device.
If you don't have one, you can check the expected coverage on our coverage checker.

I’m having the same issue. I “upgraded” from BT to EE, but they didn’t send a Hybrid Connect. I called them, and they sent one, but it wasn’t provisioned. After several conversations, they said it needed to be provisioned, then later decided to send a new one instead. That order got stuck in the system for a week. They eventually removed the order, so I had to call back, and now they’re supposedly sending another one—but it’s delayed again.
I’ve wasted hours on the phone, struggled to get anyone to take ownership, and been promised multiple callbacks even given someone’s ee email who then ghosted me (hello Barrie) —yet only one person actually called me back yesterday. At this point, I’m certain it’s just going to get stuck again.
has anyone resolved this issue.
yes I have EE signal and a connection to the router.
