Hi all,
I recently signed up to 1600Mbps full fibre with the Smart Hub Pro. Since the upgrade I've been experiencing issues with random disconnections when using my PC, which is connected via ethernet. I've tried connecting to a different port on the hub, tried a different cable (both are CAT8), but the issue persists. There doesn't appear to be a problem with WiFi (that I'm aware of), but my PC is in a different room and, despite having the included Smart WiFi Pro repeater, the signal is a lot slower (I get the full 1600 speed via ethernet).
Before getting upgrade I was on the 900Mbps service and there weren't any issues.
Does anyone know if there is some way to fix this problem, please?

@Silver_666 ? your PC ethernet cable does go back to the EE Hub for connection and not to the Ethernet port off the Extender is that correct....

Yes, that's correct. I just use the extender for WiFi coverage.

@Silver_666 Check to see that the 2.5Gb/s Interface required in both the PC and the EE Pro, if your PC is windows based, look at the Ethernet Properties and your sync should be at 2500/2500, then see what the speed through the Hub port is doing, speed test's do not push a lot off data, the speedtest.net app will but not the web version.

Thanks, I'll look at trying to work out how to do that tonight 😁

Hi,
So, I tried your suggestion and everything seemed fine.
I'd been gaming for a little while last night, then got the disconnect again. As I exited from the loading screen though, I noticed the little Location Services arrow icon on my taskbar. So I did a little Googling and found that this could possibly be causing the problem. So I disabled said service and managed to play for a couple of hours without an issue.
All very odd, as I've never had this problem previously, but so far, it seems to have fixed the problem.
Fingers crossed!
