As  a long time loyal customer of BT and then EE its outrageous that I can only upgrade my70mb to 900mb even though 1,6GB is offered to new customers at nearly the same price that I am paying for 70mb+ £180 gift card

UNBELIEVABLE

Come on EE Loyality counts

Just leaving this here...

@Nobber1 Other isp's may also offer you the 1.6Gb/s package if available for them to do so, getting you to stay may mean leaving...

@Nobber1  That’s because the 1.6 option is a new system that doesn’t yet allow existing customers to upgrade to it.  It’s only new customers at present.   It’s nothing to do with loyalty.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

@Chris_B  NEW NOT New

EE (via the Openreach network) began offering its 1.6Gbps Full Fibre package—often marketed as their "Busiest Homes Bundle"—in October 2023

Of course its about loyalty and looking after your existing customers....else they leave

Thanks

Nobber

@Nobber1  You can have it you just to have to give notice to terminate give it 2 weeks and then take it out.     It’s the new system for 1.6 doesn’t let current customers to upgrade to it.  It’s got nothing to do with loyalty it’s the system doesn’t yet allow it.

@Chris_B

Change the system and keep your existing customers happy instead of feeling like they are being Ripped!

@Nobber1 If you were a BT customer you would NOIT be getting 1.6Gb/s as they do not offer it, the upgrade path with what you have with EE at present also determines the action that you have to take, and as @Chris_B has pointed out, you may have to cancel what you've got just now, ride out the couple of weeks with no internet then get the 1.6Gb/s package at the price offered by EE when you place the order...

@Nobber1    Oh yes just with a press of button that happens.   System rollouts take time.  It could be why EE have taken accounts offline this month quite a few times.

and not my existing customers I don’t work for EE I’m a customer just like you.
