Service Not Ready

Hi,

I left EE for Sky with Sky advising me that they can transfer my old landline number. Then after moving across to Sky they told me they were unable to take my landline number. I need my landline number for my work. I spoke to EE and was told if I return to them they can return my landline number to me. I returned to EE on the 19th March. I received an email advising me that on the 1st April my new number (my original landline number) was now working. Since that date I have lost connection to my landline with the router stating Service Not Ready. When I ring my landline number it goes straight to voicemail. I have been on endless hours of conversation with EE without success. Each day is costing me money with lost income.

Any ideas on how to progress this to get landline bank?

Thanks. Paul.

Just an update. Still have no landline working. Have been in contact with Kimberly in executive complaints who promised to get my line working but hasn't been able to. Was promised an update today and didn't receive any call. I am at a loss on what to do?? ☹️☹️

@Twonkynuts Is there any tone at all from the landline when connected to the back of the EE Hub, is it the same EE one as you used before the bodge when you tried to transfer the connection too sky?

Hi JimM11,

Thanks for your reply.

No dial tone just a voice message saying sorry that your landline is not working.....

It's a new router that is being used.

@Twonkynuts Have you tried the text PHONE to 66033 for a diagnostic through to the landline phone ATA port on your new hub? Also if you get time web manager to the EE Hub, https://192.168.1.254 and see what the status screen shows for the DV connection.

Yes tried everything. Apparently I need my digital line to be reset. This appears to take months to do. Everyday it loses me income but what do EE care about that? 🙄
