Today I received a text claiming to be from EE rewards, I clicked the link however it was not proceeding with the selected reward (thank god) stating card not valid.

Since then I have had an email confirming direct debit has been set up for my broadband. I only have broadband on my EE account as my phones are all through UW.

Ive tried to look online at my account but it states the account is closed.

is someone able to provide some assistance with this matter please.

Hi @Kaylz018

There are others threads and this is a scam.

If you entered any card details you need to contact your bank and change your account number. Any email address or passwords you need to change as well.

As for the other points you need to speak to EE CS on 150 and change your security information.

Thanks

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

Had you not had a DD set up for your BB before?

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Home Broadband & Home Phone or Option 2 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Yes that’s what made me question why because I already pay my bb via dd.
