Hi there I just got fibre max installed this morning however the router is still showing a green light. I have restarted and reset it. Can anyone help as it says it should be aqua?

Yes it’s working perfectly it just doesn’t have the aqua light. I guess it doesn’t really matter

@Hezzadot : Is it a greenish yellow? Post an image.

  1. Upon switch on solid Green just means it's starting up.
  2. Followed by solid Yellow if it finds the BB but not the Net.
  3. Instead of solid Aqua if it connects completely.

Have you got Home > Hub Light Brightness fully ON 100%?

Post your full router stats:

  • For a SmartHub: login and go to Advanced Settings > Technical Log > Information. Obscure your names & any numbers in the BB Username & also the SSIDs.

Full router stats are key to any speed & connection issues.

Just had FTTP installed here and asked the Openreach engineer the same question. He told me that the user guide is out of date, and on the latest router the solid green light is the one you want to see.

Seems to all work ok with Green on mine, so it looks as though he was right.

Great thanks for letting me know @Yorkshire12
