Hi
I am hoping someone on here can help as I’ve been on the phone to EE support three or four times a day for three weeks.
I have the Smart Hub 6 router and it constantly restarts throughout the day. Between 6am and 11pm it happens around 8 or 9 times.
Things I have tried - new router. New power cable to router. Three different sockets (wall and extensions from other parts of the house). I have also even changed the plug to the Open Reach box on the wall.
Every time I speak with EE they run a diagnostic and everything is fine. I then get assigned an engineer who runs a test on the line to the house. And after seeing that all is ok. They close the case. This has happened three times now.
I am at a loss as to what to do next. Can anyone advise? TIA

Thanks everyone who has taken time to reply. I’ve been going mad for two weeks over this. I will trust an engineer will be sent this time. And hopefully if there is an issue with the ONT. then it will be spotted and fixed.
I will try the new BT hub in the meantime and see if there is any difference with that.
appreciate all the help

eth4 was a hub for some ikea lights. I tried a different eth slot and then even removing them completely. But neither have fixed it.
one last attempt is to take my ring doorbell offline. One of the CS managers said that it could be causing the issue. I’m trying anything at the moment. Haha

This is since the last time it happened.

@maccy20 Sorry about that, so you are aware the Plus router has three (3) version's off it all with slightly different operating characteristics but hopefully the all do the same but may just not report the differences when looked at, so the mention was the hub i had was the 2nd version fttc/fttp capable was on copper first then onto a FF Full Fibre connection...
And the log file i put up with the ?? to you had the DSL lines in the log file....
I also was monitoring a request that when the log's got so big the hub would reset, never ever seen that longest i think was 86day's online with ZERO issues but then a EE FW update dumped onto it and that forces a restart, so back to square one, so i have every daily log captured and monitored all stored away....

Is the ring doorbell using a PoE adapter to power it? or is it using WiFi?

@Jacob_ Does ring even have an Ethernet connected doorbell version off any kind!

Then that is most likely not your culprit! however, there's been weirder things to happen. Images take a while to be moderated and approved it seems, so can you paste your system uptime here? EE should be able to see the statistics on the ONT from their end if they can access the ONT directly, so if they were seeing LOS surely they'd let you know.
I know you can't sit there and watch the ONT for hours, however, here's a manual from OR
https://www.openreach.co.uk/cpportal/content/dam/cpportal/public/images-and-documents/home/help-and-...
Openreach tend to use Huawei or Nokia, but if yours is pictured in that manual, see if you can see any of the status lights changing at any point before a dropout.

So I tried taking the battery out of the doorbell. I managed two hours. Another restart of the router 5 mins ago
the system and network uptime are 5mins when I log into the router.
I have the Zxyel PM51300. Power and PON lights are green and stay green. The LOS light is off all the time. And the LAN light is constantly flickering. I’ve been on zoom calls and they drop off. I make it to the router and ONT box in about 5secs. I’ve not seen the lights go off it. Only the router light off and then coming back on. I might have to set up a camera to record for a few hours pointing at the box 😆
