Re: Free now tv

Same here, although I believe the offer was for six months free.  I cannot get any live TV i,e, BBC News etc I  requested a sky sports package none of which seem to want to load up.  I was told I would need an aerial and the people who turned up from BT said it wasn't necessary.  they charged £30.00 for this privilege,  BT also charged a £30.00 set up and installation fee and yet all of this was performed by myself   I called into the local shop to get my account number as this was required to assist on the phone with this and the account number is wrong.  I was kindly offered to be connected with customer service whilst in the shop and considering I would be five miles away from home thought this a pointless exercise.  This easy crossover from Sky TV is now seeming like a little bit of a bad move.

Hi @Celeryking,

If you have a BT TV service, your broadband supplier is BT.

They'll be happy to help if you get in touch - bt.com/help/contact-bt.

Thanks

James

Again I refer you to the first line of my comment.  I signed a contract with EE on the basis they would deal with BT.  End of.  Please stop repeating the same mistake.

Hi @Celeryking,

The EE Customer Care Team can't access your BT account to help resolve the issues you're experiencing. I'm sorry if this wasn't communicated when you placed your order.

BT Support are the right people to help.

James

It wasn't communicated and neither was the FACT I would be unable to recieve the package promised.  So what are EE going to do about it?  Probably nothing.

Hi @Celeryking,

The best course of action is to contact BT so their Technical Support Team can help you get your services working as intended.

They'll be happy to help.

James

Or, as your shop assistant pointed out, shop around and find another provider whom can do provide what was promised.

@Celeryking : No, that's a TV Box. I asked which router?
