Re: Free now tv

Same here, although I believe the offer was for six months free.  I cannot get any live TV i,e, BBC News etc I  requested a sky sports package none of which seem to want to load up.  I was told I would need an aerial and the people who turned up from BT said it wasn't necessary.  they charged £30.00 for this privilege,  BT also charged a £30.00 set up and installation fee and yet all of this was performed by myself   I called into the local shop to get my account number as this was required to assist on the phone with this and the account number is wrong.  I was kindly offered to be connected with customer service whilst in the shop and considering I would be five miles away from home thought this a pointless exercise.  This easy crossover from Sky TV is now seeming like a little bit of a bad move.

Hi @Celeryking

Thanks for coming here.

Please get in touch with BT and they will get this looked into further for you.

Leanne.

When I opened the account with EE and part of the reason I went to them was that I didn't have to deal with BT as I was promised EE would deal with them directly for me.  I have been into the EE store today and reliably been informed the package I have is unobtainable as the speed of the broadband could not cope and would I like to upgrade?  For more cost obviously.   Go figure, this old chestnut would raise its ugly head.  I had no previous problems with this and so I would question the initial sale in itself, the technical competence of the staff and the installation of aerial.  Somebody doesn't know the real truth.  .  The assistant advised me to shop around and I was still within my cancellation period and so the search starts again.

Hi @Celeryking,

I'd still recommend contacting BT Support, who can access your account to resolve any issues with your subscription.

Who have you got your BB from, BT or EE? If it's BT, you need to contact BT about it. They are separate ISPs.
