Can anyone instruct me how to port forward this number 9311 on my router.

It's for a CIS EV charger that I can not connect to.

Thanks

Under Advanced > Firewall > Port Forwarding enter the values :Capture.JPG

where the 2nd field, User defined device, is the device name of the charger & then press '+' & then Save.

Hi when I do as you instructed, I press save but then when I come back the setting isn't there.

I've repeated this but it doesn't seem to save the rule !

Thanks

It's ok. I've sorted the firewall part of the problem. However I'm unable to connect to my EV WiFi still.

Thanks guys

@richwxm   which router and which EV Charger models do you have and how are they connected?

Hi mate.

I have an ICS (Intelligent Charging System) EV Charger.

My EE is the black EE Hub

They are supposed to be connected via an app but the app always says it can't add the charger as it's offline.

So I have to go into WiFi search and look for a network named by the EV Charger. I then go into a webpage 192.168.10.1 to the portal.

There is no internet access on the EV network which is normal

Thanks

What webpage to what portal? The IP to the router is 192.168.1.254 unless you've changed it.

No mate

It's not the hub for the EE page I have to put in.

It's the EV Charger at 192.168.10.1 which is the portal to do any settings I want to change.

But then we have an app to set charging times etc etc but it won't add the charger as it says it's offline, because the server and network settings in the EV portal aren't adding up to enable the both talking to each other.iys very difficult to explain sorry

@richwxm    so looking at instructions it appears the charger starts with its own WiFi network, and they you then enter the details of the EE Hub.. However the chargers is only 2.4Ghz whereas depending on which black EE router you have is likley to have combined 2.4 and 5Ghz WiFi bands.

So depending on the router, you could switch on compatibility mode, or switch off the 5Ghz band whilst you set it up, or even seperate the bands if it is the original EE Smart Hub.

Hi Mustrum

Many thanks for your reply.

I have watched the video so basically it's exactly what I'm doing. The only difference is the EV hotspot doesn't always get found when scanning.

If I'm really honest, I'm not bad at doing things in the router, however this is a bit beyond my capability
