Here to ask if anyone has had the same situation!
Like 2 months ago a man came to my door about changing to EE, my old bill with sky was like nearly £50 a month so was happy to change. He told me the max speeds for my place would be reached with the Fibre 50. Less than a month in (but over the 14 days) I have noticed the speed is not as I had with sky. I’m happy to stay with EE but why am I paying £30 and to upgrade is like an extra like £15 when the fibre 67 package for new customer is only like £3 more.
i wish I just did fibre 67 but I listen to the guy that worked at ee now want to get it but I feel I should be allowed to just switch over to fibre 67 for the price I was offered at the door than now paying near the same as my sky bill if I was to change it now.
any help would be appreciated.

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker.

Yes, you could've have taken any BB plan up to 80 Meg (EE's Fibre 67) despite what the door stepper told you. However now you've gone for Fibre 50 you're stuck with it for the length of the contract.

Unless I sign a new contract for the higher price compared to new customers.
